 As the temperatures begin to drop turn off your sprinklers and unplug your hoses.  This will prevent damage from freezing pipes! Our Plumber recommends mid to late October. 

It's important to know where your main water shut off is to your house in case of a plumbing emergency. You can usually find this in your basement by the water meter, if it's not there, it may be located outside. If you are unable to find it give your local service provider a call, they can tell you!

Emergency plumbing can be expensive, if you have you have more than 1 toilet or sink you can shut off the water to the one that is malfunctioning and give us a call during normal working hours to save yourself a hefty emergency fee. The shut offsets are small levers near the fixture, turn the lever clockwise.
